When I’m not wearing my natural hair, you’ll find me in different types of braids or twists. And when I’m wearing my natural hair out, it’s always in a bun; and we know what all that pressure does to one’s edges.
We are in the era of perfectly laid edges, everyone wants to do some magic with their ”baby hair”. I’ve seen so many ways and styles to lay one’s edges that it will take me over a year if I’m to try all the different ways to lay the edges. But what happens when you have no edges to lay? Maybe a tight braid gone wrong? Or genes?
Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post as I was sent the product by Edge Naturale to try and review, but this review is based on my results and my honest opinion.
This was me a few months back. Imagine gathering every video on how to lay my edges and I have no edges to lay? So, I made the crochet twist -a very bad decision. The very first day on the hair was very awful; my head kept banging, I kept feeling this yank on my edges, and even when everything in me kept screaming to take the hair out I decided to carry it for at least a week or two -another bad decision.

By the second week, I couldn’t deal with the constant headaches so I decided to take the hair out, oh while I felt great relief I had a big price to pay -my edges!
When I got a mail from Shantel of Edge Naturale to try out their product that promises to enhance the hair follicles I just had to say yes!

My Verdict||

The peppermint oil added to this product sold it to me. When the cream is applied there is this tingling sensation it gives to the scalp -this comes from products that stimulate our scalp.
Though the cream is white, it doesn’t leave the edges all gray and dried up.
As I stated earlier, I used this product for over a month; and by the second week, I started noticing the changes -good changes.
Do I recommend it? YES!
Finally, the Edge Naturale Follicle Enhancer does exactly as it claims and is a great addition to one’s hair product collection. I’ll continue using it, and this time ill try it for every part of my hair not just the edges.

Keyword being healthy!
Generally, you have to stay away from hair products and treatments that include chemicals like parabens, DEA or sulfates.
I totally agree with you! We should feed our hair healthy products not chemical filled products.
Most people in my area are oblivious to the fact that fast hair growth scalp therapy shampoos (of course without any sulfates, parabens or DEA) are a thing. People can now have longer hair and achieve more alternatives. Surely worth looking into it.
When you’re talking about alopecia, damaged hair, avoiding skin disorders, fast hair growth, hair health normally, similar principles actualize.
As a general rule, you should try to stay away from hair treatments and products that contain chemicals such as parabens, DEA or sulfates.

Clearly the content on this page is spot on for multiple reasons. It stays away from the common mistakes and errors too many fall into- utilizing horrible alternatives. Keep up the great content!
