HOT CHOCOLATE AT PAPPA ROTI CAFE
We had plans of visiting an art gallery on this beautiful day, unfortunately the one we picked was total crap. The customer service was horrible and I wasn’t going to let anyone ruin my day or time. So we decided to leave there and get something light to eat. After surfing Instagram, I saw this page that caught my eyes, suggested it and everyone was on board with going there! So I called them to let them know we were coming and viola! The best unplanned hot chocolate got to settle in our cold bellies. WHAT WE HAD|| Hot Chocolate | N1,000 Plain Croissant | N650 1 Bun | N1,450…

A NIGHT OF SOLO DINING AT THE PAVILION
I love a restaurant with good aesthetics and a mouth watering menu. So, when I got invited by Pavilion restaurant to try out anything on the menu I just had to say yes! And I kid you not, it was a night of pure bliss! It was an amazing evening of solo dining and calm music, strong cocktail, yummy foods, sweet cocktail and crunchy potato chips. I started out with the crispy potato chips and screwdriver cocktail. I wonder what made me choose screwdriver cos that drink was strong as STRONG 😂. Then I had the jambalaya for my main course, and if you ever decide to dine at the pavilion…

FOOD TASTING || SHABU SHABU AT MISO JAPANESE AND THAI RESTAURANT
A few Sunday’s back, I and some of your favorite Abuja food bloggers were invited to Miso Japanese and Thai Restaurant to try out their Shabu Shabu menu. It was an amazing evening eating, drinking Heineken courtesy of Heineken Ng and chatting with some of my faves and our amazing host Calabarboyfoodie and some others. Description according to Wikipedia || Shabu-shabu is a Japanese nabemono hotpot dish of thinly sliced meat and vegetables boiled in water and served with dipping sauces. The term is onomatopoeic, derived from the sound emitted when the ingredients are stirred in the cooking pot. The food is cooked piece by piece by the diner at…

WATER FASTING || MY 14 DAYS EXPERIENCE AND THE RE-FEEDING PROCESS
I can’t believe it’s been 3 weeks since I completed my 14 days water fast journey and in this post, I’ll be sharing my 14 days water fast experience. On the 10th of November, I had a big meal of Jollof rice and fried fish which is totally the wrong thing to eat before a fast. But the fast was a last minute decision because I’ve been trying to complete a 14 days water fast all year and I was never getting to day 3. So, on the 10th I said to myself “Ucheyy we are doing this fast from tomorrow whether you like it or not” and that was…

This post is two weeks late and I’m terribly sorry for the delay. I’ve had a lot happening at the same time and for a minute I didn’t get the time to post. My apologies! Now to Lagos Bistro! When I first heard the name, I thought they were in Lagos (an obvious mistake 🙄) but by the time I checked their IG I discovered they actually are in Abuja! For someone that moved from Lagos to Abuja, I was totally curious to know if they got at least 80% of the Lagos vibes. Stay with me on this…. I literally walked into Lagos no jokes. SRI LANKA FESTIVAL AT MISO JAPANESE AND THAI RESTAURANT (PHOTOS)
It all started from an instagram post to one of the most magical nights of my food adventures! There was every kind of food you can imagine and ones you can’t even begin to imagine their existence. Miso Japanese and Thai restaurant Abuja launched their Sri Lanka menu on the 4th of October and I was honored to be among the selected few that got to taste the lovely dishes before they introduced it to the public. This veggie soup was “curryish” and for some strange reasons, it sat pretty well in my belly. What’s a bowl of soup without bread?! This post is going to be a pictorial post,…
