SABROSO RESTAURANT – Arabic, South Indian, And Mexican Restaurant
Sabroso restaurant is a mix of Arabic, South Indian, and Mexican. Each culture’s food had unique similarities, making it so easy to merge. I was invited for a complimentary dinner at Sabroso Restaurant and it was quite an eventful evening. From trying out the Taco’s, to the chicken enchiladas, to the quesadilla, down to the shorbat adas, to the basabusa, down to the masala dosa, just to name a few. I had a swell time interacting with the Chefs present and learning about each dish and how they are eaten in their culture. In this post, I’d be sharing the various cuisines and a little insight for most of the…

BEEF RAGU AT STROBRIE ABUJA
Strobrie is a bakery/cafe best known for its handcrafted artisan pastries in Abuja. It’s filled with so many green plants and handcrafted pots and tables giving it a garden look. As you step your foot into the cafe, you are greeted with calm music and green plants strategically placed in different areas. Every table has a plant pot on it, there’s an aquarium on one side of the cafe, with a bookshelf possibly to keep one busy before their food is served. At one corner of the cafe has a standing fridge with freshly made pastries organized in it. The sitting arrangement is very spacious, and if you’re more of…

SUYA FRIED RICE AT URBAN AIR RESTAURANT
Urban Air is a restaurant situated in the heart of the bubbly part of Abuja. It gives the illusion of dining on a plane. This spot is a great place for people who love hot and spicy food. As you step your foot into the restaurant, you are welcomed by the make-believe airplane setting, a beautiful combination of quote frames hanging on the wall, and an immense luxury of modernity even though the interior decor wasn’t a 100, it was picture perfect. Every table gives you the vibe of being on a plane. When looking at the chair to table arrangement, it looks quite tight but it’s actually comfortable when…

PENNE ARABIATTA AND LASAGNA AT ANN’S RESTAURANT ABUJA
It may look like your average Abuja restaurant (as almost every restaurant in the capital has the same look), but Ann’s Abuja is anything but! I wandered in with my two girls on a Friday afternoon, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of varieties. The restaurant wasn’t filled up so it wasn’t a problem to snag a table. The decision to be made was to dine inside or outside (there’s an outdoor section at Ann’s). Walking into Ann’s, you’d feel the classy vibes with the minimalist decor and the attention to details. It doesn’t really look like your average restaurant as attention was paid to…

BRUNCH SPOT|| CRISPY CHICKEN MAYO SANDWICH AT MIMS NOSHERY
What was meant to be brunch turned into dunch (lunch/dinner) because we were indecisive on where exactly we wanted to go to, by the time we multitasked between doing our make up, picking outfits, deciding on what exactly we wanted to eat and where we wanted to go to, it was already 5pm. Walking into Mims Noshery you can feel the girly vibes, with the pink decor splashed on every corner of the restaurant. It doesn’t look like your average restaurant as attention was paid to the details. It may look girly, but the play of flavors in their dishes speaks volume! I wandered in with my two girls…

FILIPINO FOOD || PATA TIM AT MANILA 101
Filipino food, Pata Tim It may not look like your average 5 star restaurant, but Manila 101 and the Filipino food it offers is worth your 5 star ranking! As Jenny is a dear friend, whenever I find myself in the neighborhood I always stop by for a plate of whatever she has on the menu. I wandered in on a Friday evening for a beer tasting (which I’d review in another post), and decided I’d be needing a warm meal to go with the beer and was immediately greeted by the ever friendly Jenny and incredible aroma of whatever was cooking up. The restaurant wasn’t it’s normal filled up…

15 CHEESY PIZZA QUOTES YOU’D DEFINITELY LOVE
What is pure and genuine love in a box? It should have a bottom that is properly done to offer a good crisp bite, and the crust should be toasted on the outside but fluffy and light on the inside. The sauce shouldn’t soak the dough and the toppings should be balanced. I don’t know what else we should describe as a perfect love in a box if not this! At this point, pizza should be listed as a love language right? In this post, I’d be sharing 15 cheesy pizza quotes you’d definitely love; make sure to bookmark this for inspiration for the next time you’re trying to express…

HOT CHOCOLATE AT PAPPA ROTI CAFE
We had plans of visiting an art gallery on this beautiful day, unfortunately the one we picked was total crap. The customer service was horrible and I wasn’t going to let anyone ruin my day or time. So we decided to leave there and get something light to eat. After surfing Instagram, I saw this page that caught my eyes, suggested it and everyone was on board with going there! So I called them to let them know we were coming and viola! The best unplanned hot chocolate got to settle in our cold bellies. WHAT WE HAD|| Hot Chocolate | N1,000 Plain Croissant | N650 1 Bun | N1,450…
